Recent projects and work: Danielfilm Studio Portfolio
Registered Hungarian Film Production Company – contact: [email protected]

Danielfim Studio was established in 1994, and we have been producing documentaries and feature films by Judit Elek, Zsolt Kézdi Kovács and Eli Laszlo Berger.

Judit Elek 1936-2025
Judit Elek graduated as a director at the Hungarian University of Theater and Film Arts in 1961, and launched her career at Budapest Film Studio. As a founding member of Balázs Béla Studio she is one of the most significant figures of Hungarian film history. Her films blur the line between feature film and documentary, blending fiction and reality. She has appeared at Cannes on four occasions and is the holder of many European and international festival prizes.

Zsolt Kézdi-Kovács 1937-2014
Zsolt Kézdi-Kovács was a distinguished Hungarian film director and visionary storyteller whose work has left a lasting mark on world cinema. A graduate of the renowned Hungarian Academy of Film and Drama, he directed ten feature films and numerous documentaries that explore human experience with depth and subtlety. His films have been screened at major international festivals including Cannes, where Forbidden Relations competed in 1983 and A Nice Neighbor was featured in the Un Certain Regard section in 1979. Zsolt Kézdi-Kovács belonged to that small group of directors for whom film analysis was no less natural than managing the affairs of film production and film diplomacy.
